Leicester was a once in a generation thing. Doubt we’ll ever see it again for many years.

Pool have done well, but can they sustain it? Not just this year, but year after year.

It would also be sure to generate the inevitable financial pissing contest between The Saudis and Abu Dhabi

Again, so when you're part of that group that benefits against the rest it's fine and the PL is all dandy, but if it effects you its suddenly money ruining the game.

It makes minimal difference to the smaller clubs tbh as it's been this way for years, it's not like United are paupers isit?

But you're implying that there's no real issue now and that this happening would be what turns the PL into a money fuelled **** show.

So i can only assume that is because you feel this would negatively effect Spurs, otherwise what exactly do you think you've been watching for the past 15 years?

It will negatively effect every club in the PL, not just Spurs. Which is what I’ve been trying to get across.

You assume too much. I’ve no wish to see the PL turned into a La Liga style two horse race.

What’s happened over the last 10-15 years would be as nothing compared to the financial pissing contest between two of the wealthiest oil nations on earth.

I don't see how it negatively effects any team outside the top 6, it won't be any different to how it is now. It will barely make any difference to the other 14 teams as they aren't really competing with the top clubs anyway.

Because the likes of Saints, West Ham and Leicester are close to competing with United now? <laugh>

It will inevitably drive up the price of everything. Players, wages, etc.

Of course it could affect you.

The wealthier clubs have already driven up the price of players, wages, and probably tickets too.

Regardless of if your club is a likely challenger for the top honors or not, who wants to see even less competition for trophies ??

If it isn't Saints winning a trophy I don't really care who it is. The finals are usually contested between one of the top 6 v another one of the top 6 so I couldn't care less who wins.

Last year for example was one of the more enjoyable seasons for me to watch in recent years as City were that good they were brilliant to watch in almost every game. I am sure fans of the top 6 clubs would disagree and say it was **** as City had the league effectively won by Christmas, making it boring for them. Well that is what it is like every season for the other 14 teams.

Again I'm not sure what you've been watching for the past 15 years.

Also most fans of clubs outside the top 6 don't really give a **** about the top 6 either.

Nice to see us not getting mentioned in all this. You're right about the Arabs though, they could put Abramovich in their back pockets.

  18. Yes, it would become a war between two wealthy Arab families, with our National Football League the battlefield.

Clearly, United’s current Yank owners are either not wealthy enough, or they’re too mean.
