Waghorn and Henderson for the U-21s

Both scored cracking goals for the U-21s although it was against Azerbaijan.

Yes I know they don'tplay for us anymore but 2 cracking goals!

 

still think we should have held onto Waggy. We should be proud of the young players that have come through our system irrespective of where they end up, some decent talent starting to come through

 

waggy looked much better than wickham to be fair :S

 

I thought it was curious logic when we shipped him out. He was still developing, and couldn't have been on big wages, shame we didn't bring him on a bit more. But if you rememeber he went out and we immediately loaned Wellbeck from Utd, which most of felt was a bad move at the time - Time proved many wrong on that particular front mind.

 

But we got 3m for him which I think it was speculated at the time was needed in order to bring in Gyan..?

Also, newton, you have to remember Waggy has 3 years on Wickham, did he look better than him three years ago? I don't think so!

Hendo's goal was good. He has been fantastic for us as well so far, Especially against Bolton. Looking forward to seeing him develop, you produced a fantastic talent there.
