    Hi Folks

The Tractor boys are the visitors to Elland Road midweek as Leeds aim to stop the landslide.

Leeds have won once (1-0 at Hull) in just over a month, and although the Whites have had their injury worries, they have not been playing with the same tempo or intensity we saw in the beginning of the season.

Thankfully Leeds have no new injury worries, plus Hernandez, Roofe and Berardi all left Ewood Park with no recurrence of their injuries.

Luke Ayling will also be available for selection following his one game ban.

With Douglas still sidelined, Bielsa must decide whether to stick with Dallas at left back or bring in Tom Pearce.

Bielsa is under pressure to give Jack Clarke his starting league debut, but is it too much too soon for the 17 year old?

Loanees Harrison, Baker and Blackman are also pushing for a starting slot, as it Forshaw.

Ipswich sit bottom of the Championship on nine points.

Let's get back to a starting lineup as near as we can get to the first 2-3 games of the season, that would mean one change at LB

Saying this part of me would like to see Alioski start there but then it would mean someone taking his spot wide left and I wouldn't want that to be Roofe being played out of position.

    -------------------------BPF-----------------------------
    Ayling---------Jansson----Cooper-----------Pearce
    --------------------------Phillips-------------------------
    Hernandez----------Klich--------Saiz--------Alioski
    ------------------------Roofe--------------------------

I wouldn't ask Pearce to cover two positions for a starter ;)

When Izzy Brown is playing would he fit into Alioskis position ? or is he more of a Pablo backup/ replacement.

Got to admit Alioski looked great at LB for 20 minutes but it was against a team defending a lead. Whether it would work from the off where a team may well target him I’m not so sure.

Really looking forward to Wednesday and staying over :emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer: onwards and upwards for the mighty whites!!

Alioski usually plays for his country at LWB so maybe use him there and put Harrison wide left which means we have balance again and players in their real positions. That means any 2 from 3 of Pontus, Berardi or Cooper with Ayling. Pablo wide right

Yeh it was his best 20 mins in a Leeds shirt for me... think jfh made the point that some players are better when they see the game laid out in front of them rather than having back to goal... but your point about the circumstances of the game is the key.

He started off as a left back so can obviously play there. And in bielsa ball, the wing backs are more wing than back. You’d question whether teams would look to take advantage of his lack of height and pace if he was a regular starter there, but as a back up to Douglas...

Also Depends what he thinks The options to replace alioski are. Guess it’s harrison swapping wings as doc says

I thought Beradi was one of our best players, very committed and very safe. I would have him at left back and I would try baker/harrison instead of Alioski. Although I am afraid that they wont work as hard as Alioski helping back etc.

I agree with whoever said that we need to get back to as close to the team that started the season that tore up Stoke / Derby. Liked Jack Clarke and he needs game time when we are winning / won the game rather than asking a youngster to chase and change the result. Anyone know her far off being fit Douglas is?

I like Berardi and thought he did well earlier in the season at centre back. He got roasted a few times, messed up a back header and was it him who lost graham for the first goal? Not sure but din’t know if it was his safest game.

Very difficult to call who was the worst out of Berardi, Dallas and Alioski on Saturday- I thought all three were shocking

According to Phil Hay there’s a chance Douglas is fit for Ipswich but should deffo be available for Forest

I hadn't realised Pennington plays for Ipswich this season.
