Today I think Brian Hughes can have a double at Sedgefield with SONIC 4.55 @ 6/4 and CHICA BUENA 2.45 @ EVS. I also like MERCERS COURT @ 5/1 to complete a 4 timer in the 4.25. At Kempton GRAND SANCY 3.05 @ 2/1 looks good too.
hi fellas! sedgefield,2 10: although im not sure, what ability is left with MY WIGWAM OR YOURS,after leaving the henderson yard, but he ran a bit better the last two starts(especially last time out),and this shorter trip and a much reduced mark might help him get back on track again for his new yard. kempton,2 30: jabulani was surely the best of these over hurdles, and has a big shout today, but i d rather go for an e w value, with WAY OUT WEST.he was very disappointing last time out,but his win two starts back has been boosted quite a few times by the second and third that day,and he sets out chasing on a fair enough looking mark,so no surprise, were he to become a better chaser than a hurdler..
kempton,3 05: this is the toughest task for HIGGS today, but he beat quite a good nicholls horse last time out in may,so he may not be totally out of place in this small but select field.would be massive for his small yard to win this vs the big ones,so he gets a narrow vote from me..could be the surprise package here..
Unlucky there with Wigwam JP,jumped like a stag throughout the race and looked the winner but made a right old mess of the second last fence.
well, yes, but hey, nevermind, thats just the game, isnt it? cork,2 55: i think,THE BALLYBOYS has a great old shout here.he improved on his recent form last time out in second, and whats the most interesting, the third horse that day,na trachtalai abu, nearly won the munster national at limerick recently,at 40-1!so,thats some boost to that form, dont you think?e w value..
looking a bit ahead now,to the durham national at sedgefield at 4 25: a small but useful field, and nearly all have some sort of chance.the deciding factor for me,though,is the stamina of out and out stayer BORIC,which will stand him in good stead here today..also has found his form again in recent starts, and has a good weight too..so,good chance..
Sean Quinlan likely to get loads of flak and a holiday for missing the second last when looking set to prevail on Red Giant in the Durham National at Sedgefield. However it had been dolled of on the previous circuit. I assumed once it was dolled off it would stay that way for the rest of the race. Every day is a school day I suppose.
sedgefield,5 30: i am of the firm opinion, that experience counts a lot in bumpers,as well as course experience, and EMMA LAMB has both, and was only beaten by a useful looking rival last time out, with the third 13 lengths behind.so,she can put that to good use here,as well as the mares allowance..
Every time you tip a horse I have backed it finds a way to lose! Had Jane Lamb in a double last night with Verdana Blue.
