Neither Winks nor Sissoko have done bad, but both get altitude sickness when they push on...... confidence, lads, confidence!
Yarmolenko looks to be in real pain here. Turned a bit weirdly and I think he's twisted his ankle. Can't see him continuing.
Our build up play has been pretty good but the moment Winks, Kane, Lamela, Tripps or Davies get into a passing/ shooting/ crossing position they either **** it up or have no one to aim for. Frustrating.
Im not so sure it was Lamela was calling for it behind the penalty spot. I think he just knew sissoko’s cross wouldn’t be anywhere near where he wanted it, so he gambled, ran forwards a few yards and hoped for the best.
Really decent half. Sissoko on Fire! Good performances across the park, but really good to also see Ben Davies back on form.
Just after I say how we’re lacking in the final department. @PleaseNotPoll can vouch for me when I say I am absolutely nailing the RCL’ing today. First with Utd and Real, now with Spurs.
1-0 HT. A mixed half and a decent scoreline. We had a decent amount of the ball and got it up the park well enough, but the final ball wasn't anywhere near good enough. I'd like to see Moura and Lamela switch wings to give us some extra width.
