Ayling is s good footballer who’s been out of form recently. I have no doubt his absence second half of last season contributed to our demise... however. He played in a side doing well at the start of last season, whereas we were a dogs dinner post Christmas so you could say that skews the stats... ie he wasn’t the some reason we were promotion for more Christmas and relegation form post Christmas... but probably a contributing factor to both
