I'll lob my penny's worth in here as i can see both points (good old specsavers!!) Positives - the guy has has a proven goalscoring record at this level - he got double figures last year when the service was shocking, i would like to see what he can do given that we currently create so many chances we will probably score in every game, dont think he is as bad in the air as some think (but he is no John Charles!), that said no way can he start in front of BWP , Hayes or even Waggy up front at the moment. Not so positives - However he cannot play with his back to goal or outside the box, his general first touch is poor wasnt both red cards last year due to this? Diving in to retrieve? My advice to SCP - stick him on the bench, when/if you put him on tell him to play in the box only, stay onside and pop the spherical object between the white 3 piece structure and in the holey netty thing at the back! Job Done,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,next!!
I like your style, WWOCB. Very impressive Benno bashing - with an expertly sprinkled garnish of magnanimity. Just perfect.
The last time I mass-debated with a bunch of Charlton fans was on the way back from Carlisle last year. We had to do something to liven up the long journey. It reminded me of my school days: mass-debating over a tray of biscuits.
Cheer up, you might get him on loan. Would make sense, but I like him and would prefer he stays at Charlton.
wouldnt go that farNo one could ever replace big Mig ,but cant fault his loyalty can you and it aint all about the money Notts county offered him a decent contract on similar wages. He`s a nice guy vastly underated good to have in the squad.
