You and I share a birthday, Ben. And an attitude. What'd'ya get? I got a new Le Creuset casserole dish as daughter number two borrowed mine six months ago and is refusing to give it back. Slippers, choccies, teabags (speciality ones not just Tetley's), and a specially commissioned tieclip (Don't ask, there's a highly significant reason why this came about and it's a wonderfully thoughtful and appropriate present handcrafted by an incredibly talented young lady who works in the Birmingham jewellery quarter. And I love it). Oh, and a surprise week's holiday on the Costa del Sol next week. Only thing is that I booked and paid for that week's ago so I'm currently ploughing through the terms and conditions of birthday gift giving to see if that counts as a present. I really don't think that it does.
Hopefully Martin will be up to speed now after a bit of a break and a month of so of Nigels positivity injected in to him and a proper Adkins breakfast every morning. Maybe a shock win for us today on the cards who knows...
Haha ... you’ve done well Ernie, Happy Birthday! If the holiday includes others it doesn’t count. Mrs B sorted me a new tripod after I broke my other one & a selection of Old Tom beers. I’ve had a wiggy but I paid for that myself so I don’t think it counts. I’m just happy that I’ve reached 52 & the decision as to whether I want a fringe is still mine.

Happy Birthday chaps . Glimmers against Sheff Utd that we were getting better, but if you don't score getting better counts for **** all. I just don't feel confident before any game now, but playing the team 22nd at home has to be an opportunity for a win we can't afford to piss away with timid football.
