I can understand this feeling. Somehow I reckon it must be the same for MH and the team, I’m sure they’re a bit hacked off too. I know that ‘it’s in their hands to change things’ but they’re human too like us and sometimes things just don’t happen when we want them too. If we get anything from tomorrow I hope it’s more than just points. I hope a level of confidence and self-belief will show signs of returning. Come January I hope too that we get a couple of good loans and off-load one or two poor performers. Been supporting since 1956 so used to Saints ups and downs!!
I’m still a bit surprised Koeman didn’t want to manage our Europa League campaign; and I still wonder what would have happened if he had.
Of a similar vintage, I agree. There's more in this team than we've seen yet. Big FRO to those that have the game lost before the KO!
I think at the end of the season he managed he through the gauntlet down to the board to show ambition, and I guess he didn't get the response he was hoping for. I do believe that if they had shown that he would have stayed, but obviously that would have been subjective and we were never going be spending as much as Everton, but maybe, a little more. You never know?
You're the most experienced tosser on this forum, so you probably know more than most about such things
I know he wasn’t perfect by far, but you can’t change the record books. The only team to score five goals in either half of a EPL season, 8 nil against a team and the fastest hat trick ever. His team had something
Matchday Feeling good today, things to click for us and us to get a comfortable away win after they bottle it as per, 3-1 away win. Up the ****ing Saints #Yellows
Ronald Koeman was a total legend as a player, and despite having some fairly obvious shortcomings as both a manager and a human being, it was pretty damn good fun having a legend as a manager for that brief period.
Yep. The South Coast is ours and the little plastic skates will be crying into their bovril by the evening
