Obviously prefer a win because I can't see where one is coming from at the moment, but I agree an away draw would be acceptable.
Strange the journey over the past few seasons we have had, when l leave Dubai in two years l am expecting to come home and get my season ticket for the championship as l did when l returned to the UK in 2007 with Lowe in charge... struggling to find any difference on that return and what l see now. It was a great journey under ML and NC. Those were possibly the best days, even taking account of the late 60's 70's and when l first saw us and then the MTL days.
No, but I would take a draw right now to stop the rot, especially with a clean sheet although most fans regard a 0-0 worse than a score draw usually.
Neither would l, but we are not very good at the moment, an away point anywhere at this time is a bonus.
Oh yeah that I agree with that for sure, just wouldn't consider it a great point at all, more a decent one and one that's much needed currently!
Not great for me. Save the term 'great point' for the top sides imo, we should be looking to win most other games.
2009 - 2012 are among my best years ever supporting Saints. And I’m 57. There’s will be more good years though, hopefully before I die.
Just read that his game turned for the better when George Graham became manager. I thought the Arsenal manager who signed him Don Howe it think it was, said that he was the worse signing he had ever made. Think he cost them £400K which I thought was cheap at the time. He was brilliant for us. Became a property developer in the end I think.
Certainly interesting times they were, also under Koeman they were good. Was it greed why he left or did he see the writing on the wall? It cant be said that we aren't signing players for money that would have been inconceivable just 10 years ago, but I think its relative, but the real issue is is that we are signing the wrong players
I'm pretty sure Koeman thought he had taken as far as he can, especially when he found out Vic, Mane and Pelle were being sold. Hard to argue with really.
