If he's up against Stan 'The Man' it's only going to end one way... or am I thinking about the All-England Swede Bashing tournament? Either way it would not look good for Elfs...
Excellent stuff by Mr Lardiman. He is the IT wizzkid being able to shrink my photos as they create a too big a file to put on this board. As a result we can get the photos of my non-league adventures, you lucky people! Yesterday was great as I was able to go back to where I lived for three years forty years ago, nothing much had changed apart from a few more properties sprouting up. Potton beat Wembley 4-0 in a Spartan South Midlands League game, about 10 Wembley fans in a crowd of 74 saw a poor display by them, particularly as Potton had lost 7 of their last 8 games. By coincidence I saw Potton at London Tigers last week, I spoke to the Secretary of Potton who said that she would copy the official team sheets and leave them for me at yesterday's game. True to her word when I saw her in the officials lounge before the game she gave them to me. Non-League at it's finest.
Lingfield v Pagham in the Sussex League tomorrow. I only had two options, the first was Knaphill but they only do online programmes. That leaves Lingfield, so my fingers are crossed they do something.
Is it near the racecourse ? A beautiful part of the world with a handy rail station outside the course, I’ve been there countless times. (Always come out skint)
at the start of the summer I did my mates 60th in a private box at Lingfield … cost me a fortune with the bookies
I can see the attraction of horse racing, I'm more into greyhound racing. Does anybody fancy going to Crayford one night after a home game?
Crayford is a betting shop track, very few people actually go there Problem with greyhounds is that the odds are always so skinny.. 5/1 is a rank outsider with a dog.
I last went to Crayford about 3 months ago ...only around 70 people in the stadium & 2/3 bookies standing ....every race betting to a 150% over round. My son had a forecast up ...from memory 6/4 and 7/2 ....paid £7.50. Welcome to BAGS racing mate ...
I went 3/4 times on a Saturday last winter - despite it being the only U.K. on some occasions because of the weather, there were barely more than 150 punters there.
People don’t like being blatantly ripped off Go on Betfair & you can see the dog priced 2/1 on course available at 4.5
