Jesus is an important figure in Islam. He's one of their many prophets but not on the same level as Mohammad.
People forget that Jesus is a saint in Islam as well - he just isn't the preeminent saint as in Christianity.
Interestingly Mary is much more important - is arguably more venerated in Islam then in Christianity.
