Very interesting that. I knew the TV rights in La Liga were shared between them two but I've never seen it in writing before. The Premier League do it very fairly in my opinion.
People think it's better because of the style most teams play in, which is ******ed to be honest. I prefer the PL, and most people do and you can see this because Ronaldo was more appreciated when he played for Man Utd imo.
La liga is better. Better players, better style and the top teams are absolutely miles, an embarrassing amount of miles, better than the top teams in England. The top4 in England are significantly worse than they were a few years ago. This makes the league more competitive. People mistakingly confuse this with competition because of a higher standard.
The top teams in Spain are so far ahead of the top teams in England yet, with the exception of Barcelona, the English sides outperform their Spanish opponents in the Champions League.
that's a statto 'argument' Real Madrid & Barca only bought the best players from the prem a couple of seasons ago. Barca are leagues ahead of our best and now Real are only just behind them in class. At best, the best of England is a distant third. We could knock them out of a cup if they had an off day and we were at our peak, but that would be a bit of a fluke to be honest rather than 'proof' of the better side.
And that's a baseless argument. Real performed no better against Barca across the entire season than Utd or Arsenal did. You can speculate and name drop all you like, but there is no objective basis on which to judge which of Utd (or even City or Chelsea) and Real is better.
Apart from that Real Madrid have done absolutely nothing to prove that they are better than the top team's in England. Football is not played on paper.

There really is no argument here: La liga has the best team in the world whilst Real Madrid compare to United in terms of standard. Barcelona and Real Madrid aside, and United and City aside, what do the two leagues look like now in terms of quality? The prem would still have Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea - La liga? They would have Sevilla and Valencia (the official PL feeder club).TV revenues and competition stats, posted further above, show how the prem out performs la liga by quite a way. We have 6 teams in the prem all of which with the aility to make the semis of the CL, Spain have 3, maybe 4 absolute MAX. Whether someone prefers to watch La liga and find it easier on the eye is very different to saying La liga is BETTER than the prem. The prem is quite simply the biggest supported and best league in the world. End of.
I would say La Liga only have 2 teams with a hope of reaching the Champions League Semi finals, the others struggle to even qualify from their group. La Liga chairman have been slagging off their own league for being uncompetitive and a load of rubbish!
La Liga is a glorified SPL. Full stop. Would you ever play champ manager as anyone else bar Real/Barca and maybe Valencia? Where as you could pic Pool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spuds, City and even United if you were feeling ill!
