This is what annoys me about this forum, i make a thread about a club or player and people go off topic, It frustrates me to be honest.

I dont know about Autistic people in general but people with Tourette's are ****s and they know exactly what they are saying and to whom..there's no doubt.

I used to think, people with Tourette's only swear because it's what they mimic from people that tease them or are abusive to them. How relative that medically is to the truth i've no idea.

I see it like a child, they only know what you teach them. So if the kids at school swear it becomes infectious, as their own strength of character or maturity naturally would not have fully developed to know any different or what it even actually means.

Parenting changes that but i'm not sure it can in Tourette's.

He can't engage in the same way as other people, and tbph i do think some ppl are pretty unkind to him on here. I know they are only teasing and he probably does ask for it (in their minds) - but he will take things literally! It's how autism works. Sometimes, i try to engage in a humorous sense, but i do generally try to make an attempt to remember his nature/character and not go OTT like i would with some members on here.

The oddest thing about Matth (amongst ****ing hundreds of things) you might not have noticed is he post the next match 'day' thread on the United board seconds after the final whistle of the previous match and then never posts on it.

True story.

fair enough...didn't realise he was actually autistic...not that it's an excuse for some of his rants but I will back away out of the room and stop pissing around as it'll be unfair to continue.

I was watching Undateables one time and this bloke with Tourette’s was swearing as they do, saying random things at random times. The bloke had a date one day and she was running late...so all of a sudden his swearing became more angled towards the girl...calling her a slag, bitch etc and I thought...hang on a minute, this guys having a laugh...he knows what he’s saying and when...the dog

So either Touretter’s are people who take the piss or I’ve got Tourettes
