Yeah I've probably seen the same video, it's one of those where I wish I could unsee. Absolutely horrific.
He was a counter revolutionary who fought against an oppressive regime. Everything he did was on the other side of the planet in places no one really goes to so he became a more of a myth then a man. Most importantly he looked good on a t shirt - if he was ugly then no one would give a crap.

I remember watching Stuart Pearce score his penalty vs Spain and being astonished at his reaction - I got this picture in a pack of football stickers for the 1998 World cup and stuck it on my cupboard instead of the album because it was so epic. please log in to view this image
