All Nations are picking their strongest sides. Every side is taking it very seriously. In what way does that equate to being the same as a friendly? Dirty **** Ramos!
I said the match doesn’t evoke any more feeling than that for me. I’m aware for the players it’s more. However it’s all got entertaining with that Pickford balls-up.
England sitting far too deep. We'll be lucky to hold out here. Maguire booked for a clean tackle. Ref is going to give them everything now.
In the first half he blew up spot on 45.00. Perhaps he decided to put all the additional time at the end of the game.
Fantastic win for England. Average age of starting team 23. Beat Spain in Spain. England are **** eh?
That was a fantastic international game. England are getting there. Sterling was immense, as was Rashford. Kane also very good.
Think England used up all their luck in that match. Two off the post, Pickfords brain freeze that should have been at penalty. Ramos missing a sitter... Spain should have won...ah well we won, that's all that matters Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
Yeah right. 15 years since Spain last lost at home. Give England some credit for ****'s sake. They ripped Spain apart first half.
Actually, the more I read that the more bollocks it comes across as. England were scintillating in the first half. Plus, even towards the end we were bringing on really young players. Your post sounds incredibly churlish when you consider England's achievement tonight.
That was a million miles better than any friendly. It was competitive, passionate, fast, good technical ability, great movement and goals. This game had everything that a friendly wouldn't have!
Even if the competition means little, it still means more than a friendly and gives these promising young players the chance to play at a competitive international level against top players. I really enjoyed that game. Well done England.
The Dier tackle on Ramos early on indicated that it was no friendly, and really showed that England meant business.
