On a footnote, the Hubble telescope has been put on safe mode along with a few other communicating satellites.. It was the Solar observatory and a few others a couple of weeks ago so you have to ask why?? Bear in mind it is the communicating 24/7 satellites that have been shut down..

Joe, I don't generally follow or believe conspiracy theories, however, having seen the equipment used it does beggar questions. Could the capsule have survived what was required. Yes i believe so, we had been building similar equipment for submersibles well before the moon landings. But stuff like the moon buggy etc, you look at think wtf, but hey, it had to be lightweight and versatile. As much has my brain would think, no way, the logic of thinking through what was in front of you said, yeah maybe. I would actually like to believe they hoaxed millions of people, it would prove how gullible we all are, and it would open up questions about so many other things, sadly i doubt it will be proved a hoax in my life time, IF it ever was.

i dunno, old tech (all those old things they used to create) seem to last longer than the **** they produce nowadays. I'm not sure why the newer light weight advanced tech dies a lot quicker than what it used to. The other thing is if the muricans really did fake it, i'd be surprised that the russians let them get away with it since there was a giant space race to show who was stronger.
Simply not a hoax. A lot of the space technology we still use is based on those early NASA missions. We were sending satellites up in the 50s, the technology was there it just needed some balls and a ****load of money. Not to mention the many hundreds of people involved in making it happen. There's just no proof of it being a hoax that can't quite simply be explained.
I agree, although the conspiracy argument was never about the technology or going into space, the debate centred around whether the Americans did actually land on the moon, when they said they did...first. And as you say no proof of it being a hoax that can't be explained. I guess the main reason for the doubt is no fooker trusts the Americans, now that i understand.
