When a car is in motion, the batteries charge up. (Electric cars apart) Your second point about seeing a car from behind. In the winter months you are in shadow quite a lot on bright autumnal and winter mornings. It might be bright above but it isn´t at ground level, so for safety reasons alone, headlights should be on for motorway travel, and for routes like the A32 where cars are constantly moving from daylight to shadow at high speeds.
Regarding the attitude of most UK drivers, it is good and very considérate but there are a hardcore as everywhere else who are obnoxious, particulary those who tailgate. What I do on a single carriageway road is brake and slow down to really wind them up. Most get the hint very quickly.
The reason I mention electric cars, albeit slightly in fun, is that we will probably all be driving one form or another of them within a very few years, if there is a shred of common sense left in the world.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-45839644 A woman has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for falsely accusing someone of rape. I'm glad she got a custodial sentence. To falsely accuse someone of rape (when she knew full well it wasn't) is disgusting. Not only for the poor bloke involved who was completely innocent but also for genuine rape victims who are subjected to a terrible ordeal. She made a complete mockery out of them and the fact that she is a mother makes it even worse. Poor kids is all I can say to that.
I am busy directing the Iberian air mass towards you in the UK!! Don´t moan because the dull, grey wet days of November and December are just round the cornerl One of the best October days I ever experienced was in 2011 watching SFC against Watford on a balmy early October afternoon.
Doesn't bother me in the least, in fact I like it nice and warm. I'll be long gone by the time the planet incinerates itself.
A vegan said to me people who sell meat are disgusting. I said people who sell fruit and vegetables are grocer...
that's the attitude! Make America Great Again! (currently living 400 miles from the coast if the warming goes a bit too quickly for you and you need a dry bed)
My luck really is in today. Just cashed out on an NFL acca for £300 and now it looks like the last team I needed is going to lose in overtime.
In the long run you lose money cashing out, should try and do it yourself on Betfair. That is all the bookie is doing anyway. Depends if you want to try and be profitable over a long period of time or just see it as a bit of fun though
True, it doesn't mean they can't be beaten though if you put the time and effort in. Most people choose not to do that which is fair enough as it obviously isn't easy so for every person who can regularly make money gambling there will be 100s/1000s who don't so the bookie is still up overall. The bookies have also got very quick at spotting people who do win and banning them
