I already asked him that and he dodged it. It's the two Manc teams with Chelsea having a very slim chance.
Exactly. The league are having to rejig the entire thing to try and increase competitiveness. Real were runners-up last year, and do you know how many more points they got than 2rd-placed Valencia? 28! The equivalent of ten more wins!
I answered you tit. Read again. United City Liverpool and Chelsea. Last season you could have included Arsenal in that list
Manchester United will be the most likely to win it. Manchester City and Chelsea will both be contending it, and nobody disagrees with that. Already, the league has more title contenders. But as you will know, both Liverpool and Arsenal will be knocking on the door, asking questions of them. So it's a three-horse race this season, but Liverpool or Arsenal could always go for it. (Liverpool more likely but still).
You keep repeating that as if it's some magic disproof of your opponents entire argument. We've all agreed that Barca and Real are the best teams, but you haven't explained the magic by which that makes all of La Liga superior to the Premiership.
There are 10 english teams in the top 31 teams by turnover according to the most recent deloitte football finance report. There are only 5 spainish teams. Real have 4 times the turnover of any other spainish team except barca. If Villa were in la liga they would probably have the third biggest turnover. Heck, fulham and west ham are similar sized clubs to valencia (spains 4th biggest club) in turnover. La Liga ia a shambles for any true football fans. Only people who like worshipping "celebrity" footballers like it.
I really hope not but they have started well and have more depth this year. They came close a few years ago so it would be foolish to completely write them off. However I hope they finish 8th
And nobody considers the fact that Wolves, Newcastle etc.. had good starts and can beat any team, as the best thing about this league is the unpredictability of it, and the fact that any team can do anything. Take for example Wigan's late survival run, or Liverpool late run of form.
