That probably why he said best league not the best teams. The spanish one is between 2 teams. Any of 4 or 5 could win the EPL. The EPL is far more entertaining.
Yeah, I agree. The strength of a league is not determined by its strongest team. Are Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal better than Barcelona, R Madrid, Valencia and Villareal overall? I'd say so.

Yes! This is exactly the point I made on the "EPL" thread. Barca and Real are better than any Premier League team, we all know that. But all of the other teams in their league are comparatively poor, and would finish below the English teams you mention, plus perhaps Liverpool and Tottenham.
EPL is harder to win than La Liga as there are more teams capable of winning it. Also, the team that gets relegated in the EPL could probably beat the relegated teams of La Liga, therefore it is harder to score in the EPL so the fact that Rooney scores quite a bit is a good acheivement.

The English leagues are all stronger than their foreign equivalents, in terms of footballing quality, attendances and finances. (Well, the Bundesliga gets higher attendances than the Premier League, but there's a reason for that)
The last five what ? Winners ? That doesn't prove the strength of the league. As stated, only 2 teams are ever going to win La Liga. The spanish league has far better technical football but for entertainment the EPL is easily the best league in world football in my opinion for reasons others have already stated.
|Check how many points won the spainish league last year mate. Barca and real get 45% of the tv money between them. Man utd get about 6%. The EPL is built to be competitive. La liga is built to be a joke 2 team league
Exactly, so it is harder to score in the EPL, therefore proving my point. I know that reason well, it's because 1. Passionate 2. Standing Sections 3. Big Stadiums 4. some random reason that you will come up with.
