One word for you: THICK How can a player speak to a club if a fee hadnt ever been agreed. The player also wont hand in a transfer request because it activates penalties in his contract for leaving his contract early. Why incur a lump sum cash penalty when you can wait 12 months and gain a lump sum cash bonus - in the form of a signing on fee.
