Fun Fact - the scene where Hoffman and Voight are walking across a street in New York and they nearly get run down by a yellow taxi and Rizzo shouts "Hey, I'm walking here!" was all improvised. The scene was shot live without any roads being closed and it was a genuine cab that nearly knocked into them. True story.
