    Agree about Daniel Craig's Casino Royale - a fantastic movie, had all the best Bond ingredients. And a cracking theme tune, one of the best ever in my view, with vocals by Soundgarden's Chris Cornell, now sadly deceased.
    Mads Mikkelsen was superb as the twitchy and creepy Le Shiffre, and Craig was stone cold and superbly understated as Bond.

    Of all the other actors who played Bond more than once, these are my favourite movies;
    • Sean Connery ... Goldfinger (runner up; Dr No)
    • Roger Moore ... For your eyes only (though Live and Let Die is also very good)
    • Timothy Dalton ... The Living Daylights (OK not many to choose from, but I liked it more than the other one)
    • Pierce Brosnan ... The World is not Enough (Sophie Marceau and Robert Carlyle; top supporting cast. Good story I thought. I liked Goldeneye as well)

    That sums it up perfectly, Lardi. <ok>

    On a side note, I saw the superb Chris Cornell when he supported Aerosmith at Hyde Park, back in 2007. He performed "You Know My Name" - a real bonus.

    You mention two wonderful films - and they would most probably make my top 25 - but I feel I've hit the right balance with my list. It was difficult leaving out Jaws and The Thing, though.

    What ten films would you take to the desert island, AllHell?

    Crackerjack was a fantastic programme when I was a lad <cracker>

    Did you know she's currently doing a live tour? I believe she's at the Westcliff Pavilion soon.

    C4 is by far the best news program. The fact that neither May nor Corbyn will agree to be interviewed on it speaks for itself. From what I've seen they are the only TV news station to give proper coverage to the devastation in Yemen. Bring back Paxman. BBC World Service is still excellent though.
