No, he's doing exactly what the leader of a Supporter's Trust should do - speaking up for the members.
He’s just after some status. The bid is a ruse to get in the faces of the owners and get some publicity for all involved. Some perceived legitimacy. It’s not going to amount to anything.
I thought this **** might have come to an end this international break. Why am I not surprised. The thought of listening to another after match interview with the physio after another **** performance is too much. ****ed if I can be arsed to go to the Preston game bored ****less with it all.
If he is after ‘some status’ then I’m convinced it’s for the fans rather than for himself And good on him for trying as well
You have strong anti opinions of the group particularly a certain member. I'm not a member by the way. What's your thoughts on the Allams I am curious.
We have a Hull City fan (Geoff) working so hard for us and yet people still want to diss him. When they go to bed tonight, their final thought should be... I'm not a Hull City fan.
I’m not anti the intentions. I just hate having to involve c@nts like Jarvis to try and get a voice. A lot on here are misrepresenting my statements as a dig at Geoff or the Trust. I’m totally anti Jarvis. I’m a little ashamed someone would use him in the name of the “trust”. I was disappointed the members seemed to have absolutely no clue about this bid. I think the rubbish about co ownership is just that: rubbish. They can’t even quantify what that means in money etc. So it’s NOT the intent to rubbish supporters. I would prefer a Trust that has real ideas as lobbies the real influencers, not just jumping on a show band wagon. It’s clear I’m rubbishing the potential success of those involved and the idiots linked. This makes me a bit sad the Trust have jumped on the whole thing for albeit good intentions. I can’t see it do much than give free publicity to a few and it won’t further the fans agenda at all. Beyond some air time. Just because you are anti Allam, and pro fan, doesn’t mean you have to like or endorse anything in the name of supporters! As for the Allams I want them gone tomorrow. I would like a proper owner, though, not some frankly stupid mystery investors and a con man linked to a bloke who speaks for supporters who may have a tiny, irrelevant few quid in the mix (the fact no one has a clue how much gives you a big insight into the funding model). My venom is with the fools looking for legitimacy in what is a very serious take over situation. It’s right to be sceptical and not just say it’s good cos it’s for the people!!
In a sporting context it is a desperate time so I am not surprised they have latched onto a "potential" bidder who wants to give them a voice. Nobody expects anything to materialise. I think you should cool it a little bit their intentions are not bad.
Their intentions? Whose idea was it to work with Jarvis? I don’t have to cool it at all. You can disagree but il not alone in being a little surprised there are announcements suggesting a Trust is working for the fans, and it must be given a voice. There are many fans groups and they are all relevant. Shouting loud doesn’t make you any more important. Latching on to a pie in the sky idea doesn’t make you admirable. I want a fan group that works in consensus and doesn’t just make announcements. I’m pro fan involvement. Dissent seems not to be tolerated here. So many posters have ignored what I keep writing and just assume I’m against a voice. Have a think about how your voice is making a difference. And who is allegedly talking for you. This alleged bid is nothing more than a media release made by the group. Then a media release hurriedly put out by the Trust to explain what on earth was going on. I could write to the Allams with a bid and leak it to the papers. It doesn’t make it worthy.
As it's obviously been done with the best of intentions and almost certainly isn't going to come to anything, it might be a good idea to wind your neck in.
Why make threats? That’s twice. Anyone care to suggest Jarvis has the sort of integrity fans should be clamouring to be associated with? Best intentions don’t excuse rather poor bed mates. And best intentions don’t excuse you from some rigour or scrutiny. I’m not a sheep, but I am one of a lot of fans. I care who we are connected with in the national media. I can have an option and I don’t care for the sort of hangers on we are now told to be happy with.
You are a troll. Either Patty though he's funnier or the dickhead who came on here recently who Ben put in his place.
Start one then. I’m sure it’ll be a resounding success. The Trust is acting within it’s mandate. Read the statement from yesterday. The elected Board of The Trust have done everything by the book. There’s nothing further to discuss. If you believe details of the potential deal should be revealed to, & then discussed by, the Trust Members then you don’t understand how consultations work, how the Trust operates or how businesses are bought.
