Looking good, is that taken from the away end or is it the other side of the goal? Also is there more seats to go in the south stand or are my eyes deceiving me?
It's the other side of the goal. My seat should be a little to the right of this shot. Looks a decent view. I can see what you mean about the seats. Not sure. Looks like they might've taken some out to do something, though I couldn't say what.
In a photo posted on the previous page it looks like there's some sort of opening at the back of the stand which is especially noticeable just above where the seats taper off, so either it's some form of vent or (and this is a guess) that's the place where the sprinkler system controls are housed and they're getting one hell of a going over The other other explanation is that, checking the North Stand livestream, there's a row of seats on the West Stand that appear to be wrapped in plastic, so it's possible a few seats got damaged during the works and needed replacing
Fair enough, wasn't sure if I was seeing it properly but glad my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. You're right it could be a number of things but I'm sure it'll look more 'even' once it's done. Looking very good though and close to the pitch for a new ground. Can't wait for a visit, though sadly doubt it will be this season.
You wait till we rock up in the FA Cup next year under Nigel Pearson and Guido Carillo scores the winner.
If only mate, as it is we're probably paying over half his wages while he's on at loan at Leganes. Great record signing... The days of the top clubs coming for our players are gone, there's no one left Unless you lot want an English international GK
The most likely scenario, and it looked likely since the start of the season, is that building work will continue even though the ST/\DIUM is in use - or to put it another way, we'll have the essentials in place (i.e. the pitch, seats, floodlights, food & drink, club shop, and six different sprinkler systems just in case) but work on the aesthetics will continue for a while longer, for example checking the live streams reveals we've only partially paved the area around the stadium around the entrances while the area between the ST/\DIUM and Lilywhite House still looks like a building site
Unbelievable isn't it? How the **** did we not sack him until March and still stay up. Edit- Swansea!
Probably missed this before, but where is the main TV gantry going in? Used to be East, although logically it would be on the West Stand to avoid direct sun, but can’t make it out on either...... ?
I read somewhere that it was the front row of the upper west stand, but I can't seem to find it anywhere now.
Maybe we've gone one step further than HBIC's idea and banned all TV media Just hope it was on the plans somewhere.....
If I was an Everton fan, I'd not be as easily satisfied as the author of this nonsense...... https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.co...ham-spurs-delays-west-ham-london-stadium-fans So, Everton are delaying so that they can learn lessons from converting a temporary athletics stadium without a roof, into an athletics stadium with a roof? That should be endlessly helpful in building a football stadium. If it's taken longer than 5 seconds to learn that lesson, you're a bigger idiot than Boris Johnson. There are lessons to learn from our build. Firstly, building on the footprint of your old stadium causes lots of issues but you need an excellent design, a long time to get planning, transport, etc. sorted and a ****load of cash. Items 2 and 3 are why Everton aren't ready to build now and won't be next year, either....or the year after.
