Good mornin' all. Here it's gone very cloudy and some rain forecast. Hopefully nothing like Majorca yesterday where 6 people died, several more are missing, and cars floated down the street :emoticon-0108-speec

And here in Cadiz we have three confirmed cases of Dengue. Now that will do the tourist trade a power of good :( Why didn't Noah squash the two Mozzies???????

OFH if it rains you can get back to your new voice over career ;) That said I'm tied up with work and family at the moment so teaching English will have to wait till Saturday. That said I must find time for the footy Friday and Monday. What a bust life .

Advice given on the internet. Sweep them up and put them outside, they probably won't come back. Get some Chrysanthemums into the house as they don't like the smell. Try a citronella candle, small bags of cloves or bay leaves. Not keen on the smell of these either.

Now I never knew that! Funny what you learn on the forum :emoticon-0137-clapp

Anyway whatever don't kill them. They eat aphids. Although if you have large quantities I guess they may have eaten all the aphids and start eating plants. Glut and famine. Never happy mediums. C'est la vie :emoticon-0157-sun:

On to it Frenchie.. I have very carefully put a hundred or so outside.. But I wonder why every time I go back in more appear.
Also going to put repellent, citrus or similar, round window cracks...
Not keen on extermination though in this case..

Ladybirds sound like a good problem to have, I have been having some with ants, they are right little ****ers to get rid of. Also, a few scorpions, but tis par for the course sometimes.

I've just been reading there could one day soon be a category 6 hurricane. Hope Florida's Pan handle doesn't get too battered but looks like it will.

On another note, the international break has probably come at a good time for JG and his players.

I really can't be arsed this week with work, so have put some appointments for next week. No mornings this week, lovely! :) I hope you lot are more motivated!

    ¡Enjoy the week fellow Hornets!

I think they call it a loveliness of ladybirds Mex, certainly I am very resistant to dealing with them as a nasty [emoji218] bug

Morning all. Bright and breezy but a comfortable temperature to work in. Started stripping the old paint from my shutters yesterday, and although it looked ready to all fall off when I started it became clear that it was not coming off without a struggle. While doing it I realised that the window behind it really could do with a fresh coat of varnish as well. Oh well, as some would say, it keeps me out of trouble. :emoticon-0100-smile

Mornin' all. Here a storm early morning but quantity of rain didn't amount to much. Sadly no more forecast.

Anyway busy day in front of a laptop. Think I'd rather be stripping paint ;) Enjoy one and all.

Rain stopped play. My paintbrush was in full flow, when it started. The rain turned out to be a shower lasting about twenty minutes, but by the time it stopped the light had gone. :emoticon-0101-sadsm Seems as if I am required to go on a shopping trip tomorrow, so maybe Saturday will see me complete the job.

Going to cross the border soon, like a good Mexican, and go to the USA for a wedding. Only we shall do it by air! I haven't bought a flight in ages, they are NOT cheap things, are they?

Morning all. Blue sky and comfortably warm. :emoticon-0100-smile Just about to depart on my shopping trip to Limoges. It is a nice drive through the lanes before I reach the autoroute, and I expect there to be plenty of autumnal colour from the trees and hedgerows. A spot of lunch, and a visit to one of the large garden centres should help the rest of the shopping needs to be less painful, though Mme's list of places she wants to go to is getting longer. :emoticon-0101-sadsm
