Aside from us, Man City have played a #joke Arsenal in their first competitive game ever with the new manager, and literally the last 6 teams promoted to the PL #fixturecomputer So all they've done is #flattrackbully a bit better than last season, thanks to the World Cup and the biggest squad outside of Chelsea Loan FC Let's see how they manage against #midtable teams like Everton, Leicester, Watford, Man Utd
I predict 4 wins there..very easy wins but then everyone says that anyone can beat anyone in this league apparently... so who knows.
They couldn't beat us or Wolves, so we know they struggle against the top 7. The highest non-Arsenal side they have beaten is 13th. Whether they can handle 8th-12th is unknown.
#graspingatstraws TBF but between the dirty play and dives they might nick something, or at least make them work more than Cardiff so maybe a bit more tired for the following fixture
I also think that they are right. The way guardiola has been sulking over how we've dominated them has caused him many sleepless night. He knows he ****ed it up over the bus deep down but he can't accept it and has been hammering on about that, City refuse to let LFC pay for damage to bus, carrying it on... millions of cameras all over the bus.... advertising they have a different route (everyone actually takes) Theres almost a level of obsession which is distracting for city. IMO had city focused o nthier own game they would have won seeing our midfield especially. They played for the draw, stuck on sane and got a late pen luckily. At times frnakly our midfield was so gone after 60 mins it was out back 4 v their entire team..
yep definitely could have been a different outcome if we had a fit lalana and ox, or a coutinho type in that midfield, we just had workmen like players but little going forward.
Whatever happened to your theory of resonance between the performance of the LHC and the fortunes of LFC? Heard nothing about this for a while. What's the old atom-smasher up to these days?
