After all the excitement of the transfer window, and it has been exciting, for the last 2 months, checking on here every day for rumours/opinions it now seems to be a little flat.
Or is everyone just talked out and taking a breather before it all starts again.

By the way what has happened to KPR?

Also something that seemed to slip under the radar is Liverpool's next opponents in the Carling Cup! Brighton away will be a potential banana skin BUT when you look at our squad now it's not like we will be playing a week team whatever Kenny decides.
I know he wants to win every game we play so I am sure it will be a strong enough team. What about a start for Coates? or is that too much of a risk.

I hate international breaks- I'll watch the games but I can't summon the same enthusiasm for them as club football. I'll be grumpy until a couple of days before our next game.
Kpr is still about- if you listen carefully you can hear the soft fall of his magic feet.

I think everybody is bored of international breaks!

Regarding Brighton away in the Carling Cup, it's going to be a difficult game. They knocked out Sunderland in the last round and Sunderland are a good side. In my opinion, we have to put out a strong team or we are going to struggle.

Gus is doing a fantastic job with them. Their new stadium looks nice too.

The definition of madness, checking the rumours on the bbc the day after the window closes.

IMO there should be 4 int breaks every 2 years, but they should be longer .2 of them should be in January for about 3 weeks, and perhaps the others in october, then if they were 3 weeks you would be able to get 4 games in. So int breaks would be longer, but a LOT less frequent. We now have 3 before the middle of October
