It's a fair point (pun acknowledged). I'd take it further. I fully expected at least one proper tonking. We didn't get one. Could have been worse. Bigger failings and more damage done in previous games.
And yet, that said, we end up bottom of the pile. I’ve subjected myself to about 3 hours of the 4 and a half hours played in the 3 games ‘as live’ and we’ve barely threatened at any point. We’ve generally bypassed midfield, we’ve looked toothless upfront, we’ve defended quite valiantly but you’ve always known what’s coming. A lack of options, inevitable injuries and the relentless Championship winter slog means that unless the changes everyone so desperately wants, come off, then we ain’t coming back from this.
I've "Dared to Dream" this week regarding the takeover so I can get back to watching City on Saturday afternoons. However the group I used to go with who have also stopped going, are going to take more cajoling than envisaged..... This is the problem facing the new owners. Free beer tokens appear to be the only answer.
As long as the tokens are for the pubs near the stadium and not for the concourse because that beer is horrendous.
We played OK given the disastrous way the club has been run into the ground by the current owners. It was certainly better than last season's shambolic collapse by a better group of players. This was the worst following at Brammal Lane I've seen since the Anglo Scottish game in August 1980. Where were all the people who say "I'll follow them away but not the home games"? At Fair?
I don't believe the remaining apologists really believe the ****e they spout. They just don't want to admit they were wrong. So very very wrong.
Things are bad, really bad. They may even get worse and for who knows how long. I do know this, however. We will never, ever stoop so low as to have a maudlin John Denver dirge as our theme song.
https://www.s24su.com/forum/index.php?threads/hulls-away-following.66871/ Remember the SF in 2014 when they were crying down Wembley way? Some bitterness still there I see. City average att. that season 24.116. Sheffield's average was 17 509. We took 26,000 to the SF, they took 40,000 So which club has the glory hunter fans?
OK I'm in a different Time Zone, but it has been well over 24 hours now, so where are the new owners?
You don't need meals on wheels when you have plenty of money and a wife. Things you will have no experience of. Enjoy CBeebies.
I have stopped going home and away. Leeds home is the onl match i have seen all season and i'm not missing it much tbh.
Wrong. I have a wife who has plenty of money. Don't tell her husband though You live in Brid. People who have plenty of money don't live in Brid.
