They also missed a one on one early on and a late chance. We just missed all afternoon. Fair play to Ipswich they didn’t settle for an away point at 2-2, they kept on coming.

As for us, that’s five points dropped this week purely down to poor finishing. Potter must be pulling his hair out.

Need a Striker that is consistent as we should be winning games like this, Again we failed to take advantage of some unexpected scores today......Never mind we will have to persevere until the January window where i'm sure Potts has a few names penciled in.....

My have them pencilled in, but will the back him. I doubt it, but hope they do. If they had backed him in August then we would be a serious challenger for the top spots.

Of course they will back him. Potts won't go for the mercenaries that just want high wages, He will go for those that want to play for us on good wages,,,,Hopefully we can get rid of Bony too as he is a burden and not worth the money he is on....

    Just got back.

How did we lose that game?

Should have been 2 or 3 up before they scored.

Nordfeldt - sorry, but I feel more confident with Mulder between the sticks. He should have saved their winner.

As for the defence, they had 3 chances and took them. The decision to hook VdH backfired - we were all at sea defending the corner when they scored the winner. We missed his height and presence.

Celina could have had a hat-trick. As could McBurnie with a bit of luck - or better positioning.

Asoro really offers nothing, whilst McKay hasn’t done anything since the first game.

    James did well.

As for Potter, he tried to be too clever by going to 3 at the back - seemed to have worked when we got the equaliser, but we sorely missed VdH at that corner.

    One that got away!

Hope they do Dai, he deserves it with the job he’s doing.

Agree on Bony, he’s a drain on our resources.

IMO he didn't cost us the game he cost us a draw , we had more than enough chances to have been out of sight by half time and on another day win it 3 times over due to a lack of bodies or wrong decision making around the area ,not forgetting their keeper making 3 very good stops and the bar . I'm obviously disappointed with the result and the way we conceded the goals but overall we played well enough to have won this and on another day we would have. Regarding the keeper situation it maybe the case that the Club won't be holding onto one of them by January as we still have Bender in the U23s who looks a decent prospect .

Couldn't make the game due to my continued hip problem but looking at the stats,73.6% ball possession 622 to 166 accurate passes, was there too much pussy footing and not enough direct action?

Steady build up from the back controlled mostly through the middle and most of our attacking came from the left with Dan James absolutely ruining their right back , but we failed to take our many chances .I

Agree - he should have saved their 3rd. That said, we should have been out of sight by then!

Looking at PL results this weekend, there seems a chance Fernandez could be relegated for the 2nd season in succession. There’s a fair chance Mawson could join him as well.

Ki can also be added to the list.
