I am not a fan of Hoedt, however I think he has played well and won a lot of aerial duels. Hojbejerg asked for the ball before he received it. The only problem was that once it was turned over by Barkley he had to come across leaving Hazard in space.
I can't complain about that first half. We have had good counter attacks and we have only allowed Chelsea one shot on target. The problem is that if you sit too deep it's hard to get out close down and threatened but if you do you leave space for the clever Giroud and dangerous Hazard. We are still in this.
Crap refereeing at the end there, the free kick was just outside the box. Bertrand deserved a yellow for dissent, but he was right.
Hoedt gave away a cheap pen and got away with it. He has also, by and large looked like crap. But, the whole team has looked like crap. What do you expect against Chelsea? When you are under pressure the entire half, eventually someone will make a mistake. Bertrand got away with a shirt pull that could have been a pen. I think it is unfair to single out Hoedt as being worse than the rest of the team. But he’s not making a compelling case he’s a difference maker or a must-start either.
Bad decision, however the referee has allowed a lot of strong tackles to go, so has been generally in our favour.
Very true. They are just better than us really, no shame in it. If it was just today then I would let him off, but it’s consistent games. We have won 5 games out of 38. He has played in most of those. Just saying.

Tom it was shocking refereeing. Ryan shouldn’t do what he did, but it was awful from the referee. Right in front of me.
Good to hear the fans get behind the team when they first came out and pushed Chelsea. The team need some encouragement . We can do this.
That stat about Leicester winning more games than us at SMS since (I think he said) December. Perhaps their manager could do a job for us. Oh
