Morning all. Back home after my trip to Corsica. Dry, but quite windy, and there is a forecast of rain for this evening. Learnt a lot more about both the history and current situation on the island by talking to people and visiting some historical sites. Mme told me this morning that she could see where I had been wearing my swimming trunks. A polite way I suspect of saying I have a white behind.
Morning all. jerzeypie should have been driving down to his Mum and Grandad in France at this moment, but thanks to a strike at the French ports today he's not sailing until tomorrow evening.
Well not a good day for Norwich, but compared to the 'orns!!!!! What can one say. Here cloudy. Haven't seen that in a while. God must be a 'orn Anyways it's only a game
Bad day eh...... We are off tomorrow to the Vineyard so my on line participation will be spasmodic over the next two weeks...
Good to know the local bobby is looking after us through the night. Dixon of Dock Green would be so proud (Well what did you expect. There's not an English bobby
Enjoy your trip Yorkie, though I suspect the grape harvest will not be that good due to lack of rain. Rain expected tomorrow, then dry and warm again by mid-week. 25°C forecast here, but probably less up in those hills.
Thanks Frenchie.. We look to be getting weather on the mid to upper teams. Looking for forward to the wine tasting and [emoji265] harvesting! Morning Dave.. Morning all[emoji477] Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Morning all - did any of you get a link from Analysis fc on your Facebook page about rivalries? Basically it asks which EPL team you dislike most. It will come as a huge surprise to all of you to know that Palace and Bournemouth lead the poll
I'm old. But I do hold a grudge. And for me there is, and can be only one enemy. "We hate Luton, we hate Luton, ......". Open terraces, freezing Wednesday night in February, rain running down your back, the soggy meat pie that had little meat, the milky tea getting watered down by the rain, the cold, the terrible view from the shallow terraced Rookery, the mud bath of a pitch, the lack of skill on the pitch, .... but still we sang "We hate Luton, we hate Luton, ......". Even when we weren't playing Luton. The kids of today have no idea. I fought in the trenches for them and DO THEY CARE ...............................
Oh I don't think you'd have many dissenters. But this was Premier League clubs only - you can all insert your own jokes about the likelihood of that crowd ever attaining that status again...
