because Anthony Taylor has told the pgmol that his fav team are Altingham would you believe less than 6miles from Old Trafford Oliver could of said his Fav team was Ashington but he didn't Any ref from North Northumberland to Yorkshire could say that their Fav team is one of the smaller teams, Like Berwick,Gateshead, Durham, Darlington, Hartlepool etc but as most Norhth East based refs are heavily into football they would have some tendancy to sway towards one of the 'big' league team from the 3 Taylor will have a soft spot for one of the 2 Manchester clubs no doubt
no way Muto's hands are by his side, where could he put them he kept them down Ashley Young on the other hand (no pun) raised his arms when jumping in the air - like what Yedlin had done the week previous yet Young had time to pull his arm away from the 10 yards the ball was being kicked Yedlin was less than a yard away and the pen was given at 3-0 down, I don't think an Anthony Taylor inspired team could of made that come back
But it shouldn't matter who he actually supports. The fact the ref comes from that area should ensure that he shouldn't be ref. Who knows what connections, negative or positive, he could have. His oldest bestest mate could love or hate man u. He might prefer to sit in his local pub being congratulated by man u supporters and not getting glassed.
100% correct I said at two nil up check the odds for 3,2.... and also we would kick start sanchez season . .we all know Newcastle to well .
Plenty of positives for me from today's performance. Muto looked decent, especially in the first half. I thought Yedlin had a good game, also Ritchie, and dare I say it Manquillo didn't disgrace himself, but Kenedy looked more like his old self which bodes well (as long as he isn't out injured for the foreseeable). I think there is a 2 week international break up next so hopefully Kenedy, Dummett and Rondon are back after that. Big game at against Brighton. Passing and work rate was much improved today so they should take plenty of confidence into that game.
Should have been 4-0 up by half time. Diames header aswell, can't miss chances like that at places like that. Good effort but means nothing really. We're getting cut adrift
To think that the ref looking in the complete opposite direction of a clear penalty incident to make it 0-3 has probably saved Mourinho's job. Imagine if he goes on to turn things around and win trophies with them now.
With Lejuene I honestly think we wouldn't have fallen apart like we did after the free-kick. No offence to Fernandez, who played assured, but the Lej/Lascelles axis is unreal in terms of guaranteed organisation. The defence has been all over the shop through spates of each game far too often this season. That alone is costing points. Muto looks like the player Perez wishes he was. Plus, gasp, Manquillo wasn't bad. Hard to hate the team but I am ****ed off with that. Its the hope that kills.
What a game to watch. Toon superb in the first half and after Yedlin incident last week we certainly should have had a penalty. One needs to remember though that it was in Manchester AND they had a 12th man on the pitch in Anthony Taylor.. At 0-3 it would have been game over, Mourinho out of a job. 2nd half was like watching Custer's last stand with our midfield being completely overran and Pogba dictating the game from CB and but for some brilliant goalkeeping from Dubravka they could have had 7 or 8. We just cave in like a pack of cards and no thought goes into retaining the ball, it is just hoof it out every time for it to come straight back. I noticed both our full backs tuck in on the inside allowing Man U wide men to be easily be given an out ball and Martial especially no matter how many players tried to shut him out he simply passed the 2 or 3 with an easy pass leaving our players totally out of position. There were some positives, Kenedy back to form, Muto looking decent but Oh Mo Diame, you must learn to head a ball, 2 weeks running you have had gilt edged chances to give us points and missed them both. At PL level you must take them or become like Newcastle and face relegation. Dubravka 10/10, a £4m steal compared to keepers rated £40m +
