I think we'd all have taken 3rd spot after 12 games and losing so many first teamers. I think the knocking of some of our players is bad form. We lost 2 points because of an official who was out of his depth. With this break coming up, it means our injured will have more recovery time and should be ready to come back. I also think we've played some difficult teams in the past 4 weeks.<ok>

I’d have taken 3rd at this stage of the season if offered it in August. If you told me we’d be missing two first choice strikers and our biggest creative influence for half that, I’d definitely have taken it. Last two performances haven’t been great but we still took 4 points, and we can’t carve sides up every match.

Some off colour individual performances today, but Brentford are a good side. We’re judging performances against a high bar at the moment, which is fine, but perspective is needed.

Just thought Brentford had that extra muscle that with the exception of Phillips and Klich our midfield struggled to deal with.

Saiz, Alioski and Harrison were kept too quiet by them today, when Saiz isn’t on form it’ll be interesting to see where Izzy Brown will slot in, I’d assume straight swap unless Hernandez comes more central

The ref lost the game that’s why there was so many fouls.

Was it my imagination or were we overplaying the ball at times in defence. Hearts in the mouth stuff. That non penalty came as a result of a scuffed pass from one of ours

Brentford are a good footballing side so to fight back showing immense character & determination to gain a deserved draw after all the cheating, gamesmanship & spoiling tactics is nothing short of remarkable when you consider our weakened line-up & half the team's performances way under par today

    Positives
    Jansson's immense faultless performance.
    Pontus back on the scoresheet.
Clarke's impressive debut for one so young.
Alioski's excellent 2nd half performnce, our new LB.
    Better from our substitutions today.
Last season we'd have lost that match.
The spirit of this squad under such adversity.

    Negatives
Cheating referee, he may well hide behind the security staff, an absolute disgrace.
    Brentford's diving, feigning injury/gamesmanship antics.
Cooper and Ayling - Brentford's best players apart from the ref.
Pontus rage that will cost him financially as the Football League will do their utmost to protect their cheating inept referee. Good on Pontus for confronting the FL & Sky telling the truth.

    07 Peacock-Farrell
    03 Ayling
    10 Jansson MOTM
    05 Cooper
    04 Dallas
    07 Phillips
    04 Harrison
    05 Saiz
    06 Klich
    08 Alioski
    07 Roberts
    Subs
    06 Baker
    06 Forshaw
    07 Clarke

0 Referee - Simpson is his name, should be banned from refereeing in the championship until he becomes competent at this level. Hope not to see this clown at ER again.

It’s great to see when it works but there are times when a clearance is the safer option. Blackburn won tonight. Will be another battle in two weeks

He had a great second half when moving to left back. Didn’t think he contributed much in the first

maybe you couldn't see on the tv,the amount of times he ran back half the length of the pitch to help out the defence, would love to see how much distance he covered.
