    The defender was over the line apart from his foot that stopped it.

    Red for Cardiff, right decision

    I assume the red is because the ball was not even
    in the same time zone as where the tackle was made.

    And the tackle was high, testicle height.

    Gobby Savage, Dim Sherwood and various bitter Goons say Ralls' challenge was only worth a yellow

    That's a list of people with credible opinions, isn't it?

    :::EDIT:::

    And now we have pat Nevin saying our players influenced the decision, as opposed to the rules clearly stating a flying studs-up challenge from behind that doesn't come close to playing the ball is a straight red offence

    Some contact on Rose, but his theatrics were OTT. A bit less, and he may have convinced dean to give a pen.

    Thank god Lamela is coming on. Hopefully we’ll actually have some entertainment for the next 20 mins.

    Watch it again, stonewall. Difficult to give in real time. The commentator said no penalty then changed his mind as soon as he saw the slow-mo

    But he's clearly a Spurs fan, according to bitter Goons who ignore the two offside goals he gave them against us last season...

    I’ve seen the replay a few times. Like I said, there was definite contact, but the way rose went down didn’t look natural enough. He made too much of it, and did himself out of a penalty.

    That never seemed to a problem when Toni Kroos is literally gesturing for a penalty in mid-air...
