Frustrating first half. Started well, got the goal then seemed to sit back until the final 7 or so minutes. Sissoko playing really well. Kane looking a lot more sharper, getting involved with play nicely, looks like he’s getting back to his best. Son and Moura should’ve both scored. Hugo got let off with a big **** up but redeemed himself against Murphy when he made himself big. Good scoreline but must improve in the second half.
Rose, Winks , Big Dave, Tripps and Toby also playing well, Dier finished his afternoons work after he scored. Hugo, well, chalk and cheese.
Tripps has been ok, hit two poor crosses though. Dave and Toby haven’t really had much to do but Toby did make a great block. Winks and Dier have also been ‘ok’ in the centre but there’s nothing from them going forward. All the play is coming from the wings or Kane having to come back and collect it.
Poor first half by Spurs. Credit to Cardiff who have actually come to Wembley to have a go. There has been some single moments of brilliance from Son and Lucas but as a team performance it's been so disjointed. Hopefully Poch is laying into them in the dressing room because that wasn't good enough.
Am right behind the goal ... 10 rows back...Roses fault all day long for me...plays the man not the ball... We were well on top for first 20 mins but they seemed to change formation in midfield and it caused us huge issues for the next 15 or so mins...last 10 We got to grips with it... Crowd positive but a bit nervy... COYS
The ball is not going to feet during the head tennis forays. There has been little control in CM for the last 20 mins. Very concerning.
Just loved watching Spurs backwards,forwards,sideways to and fro to Hugo didn't you? Hang on while I scream. Fingers out Spurs or we won't pay you this month!!!!!! ….and poor old Watford.Beat us,now can't do a thing right!!!!
We need to be careful second half. They’ll feel confident about how their midfield has played against ours. We’ve not dominated that area by any means, and Cardiff definitely have a goal in them. Need to take our chances second half.
