I like Ayling generally but when he’s bad he’s bad, and he’s Had a few stinkers recently. Not alone today, midfield couldn’t string 2 passes together and Cooper had one of his keystone coops days. Maybe it was just how they pressed.. sometimes a few mistrayed passes effects the whole team. Showed some nads to get some tempo going towards the end, which wasn’t easy with the red blowing every 20 seconds.
Just watched Sky Sports highlight and what a ****ing outrage. Watkins started falling about two feet away from BPF. No contact from BPF and the **** fell over him. Sky commentators babbling on about right decision to give a penalty then back tracked to say he was already falling and made the most of it. A ****ing dive!
It clearly wasn’t a penalty, actually bpf did quite well to make himself big and then pull his arms and arch back to avoid contact. Sky were saying in full speed it looked the right decision, but in slo-Mo it wasn’t. I suspect the angle makes a difference... but whatever excuse you want to give, it was the wrong decision.
Jutkiewicz has three for brum who said we dont need some big uys eh ?.west brom are scoring for fun and sheff utd know how to win a game.we are not top two material on the players i saw today.
Table not a pretty sight at the moment but hope the return of our missing gems will spark us back to life. Some winnable games coming up after the break that we really have to start winning. We are bound to ultimately lose ground with draws irrespective of hard fought they are. Pontus a colossas again today. Alioski and Ayling very poor and Harrison promises so much. Impressive debut for young Clarke though
That adds a little bit of cheer to a dismal Saturday - but in the words of the once Debbie McGee shagger, "Not a lot".
