So isn't it about time that they tried to retract it? Make sure it works fully loaded etc. And grass doesn't grow that fast this time of the year, so to get it in tip-top shape it will need the artificial lights/hydroponics etc.

    At least the toilet flushes.
Contrast with the same old festering sh*t that is embedded into
the Library (both on and off pitch) .

Curious about a ballpark figure on how much it cost to lay a pitch like this. And how frequently it will need replacing?

    It's looking amazing.

I hear a shady bloke from West Croydon is asking how much for the lights once we're done with them...

Probably be able to grow a bit of Sensi in the closed season, that should add to the funds a bit.

There is nothing more endearing than older generations
asking questions like that (and for the record, I now in
    my 50s also do this - although I normally start with WTF ... ) . :)

    Unfertilised female cannabis plants.

You remove (kill) all of the male plants (the don't have so many leaves anyhow) and the female plants produce much more THC (active ingredient) to attract the insects that carry the pollen to fertilise them. A bit like a bunch of Chavettes or Spammettes getting their boobs out to try to attract a mate.

Just thinking about what I said and the species that do the pollination have been pollinating cannabis plants about 348 million years longer than man has been on this earth and it doesn't appear to have done the species much harm. Unlike man, who is doing his best to destroy the insects in a few short years. It must mean or say something. Perhaps cannabis use should become compulsory for the benefit and longevity of the human race.

Being a keen gardener I fully understand that. My only experience of cannabis was when it was produced in evidence in my previous job. (I wasn't a cop). Sometimes the smell would give me a headache! I grew up in the 40's / 50's & the only drug I was vaguely aware of was Opium smoked in Chinese dens up in the West End. No offence to any Chinese readers, I probably got that from Sherlock Holmes! Cheers Deedub, by the way, how old is that dear little baby on your avatar now?

Emily is five and a half now. I don't get to see her as much as I would like because she is in the UK and I spend most of my time in Africa. However, I have a new boss and we dont see eye to eye, so there is a fair chance that I might be seeing a lot more of her soon. All of a sudden, young daughter, Spurs season ticket and newly rebuilt kit car looks far more attractive that earning a large wedge working in the pits of the world.

I have security cameras indoors at home so I can keep an eye on her via the internet, but its not the same, in fact sometimes I think it makes it worse, it makes me miss her more.
