Got a feeling Japan is going to be a great race with an unexpected result? Great track, maybe a bit of precipitation thrown into the mix as well, looking forward to this one.
There again it could be the usual procession?

It seems as though Lewis has been racing a Ferrari car that may have been cheating with their double battery pack as a new sensor put on their car as seen a drop in performance.

I think the FIA need to seriously question why Ferrari were only using that battery to race Lewis.

Wonder if people still think Ferrari have the faster car? Over most of the season Mercedes have had the best car. Just like last season.

Seems to me someone is desperate to stoke interest again.

Mercedes is miles faster than Ferrari again.

Wolff has been out again try i g to convince people Ferrari are faster.

It's clear that this race is virtually a foregone conclusion after lap 1.

I wonder if they would let Bottas keep a lead this time.

Just trying to keep it interesting.

i wonder if Liberty Media asked Mercedes to sand-bag for 1/2 a season to make it interesting.

It's interesting that Ferrari have been complaining that everyone now knows they are using 2 battery packs as FIA have made them fit another sensor to ensure no braking rules on energy store/release.
Ferrar are saying their additional sensor has nothing to do with their drop in performance which they say is due to medium to high downforce circuits and their low seed corners issues.

They also seem to not have had much smoking on startup or the little plumes of steam out the back sometimes. I wonder if it's all small little things that are hurting them.

Hopefully Honda will make a bit of a competition of it with Red Bull next year. I don't think it would actually take much extra power/drivability to get a Red Bull competitive with Merc. Their chassis is still probably the best and they do tend to be generally good on strat.

Ferrari failed to make hay when the grass was good. They definitely have a weaker car now compared to Mercedes, the only difference being that Mercedes are making use of their advantage.

Ferrari were markibly better at stages this season, but their points hall fails to show this. They've thrown so many points away, all this as well as the 43 points Mercedes arguably lost with their double dnf in Austria.

This patchy rain could certainly mess up q3 for someone.

Honda, not bad, not bad at all.

Ferrari messed up but almost got away with it as they still managed to get their cars out onto a dry track. Unfortunately both drivers then slipped off on to the damp stuff, pressure getting to everyone it seems.

Vettel and Ferrari succumbing to the constant pressure being applied by the best in the game in all conditions . Hope Hertfordshire boy can start putting the final nails in Sebs coffin tomorrow.

And they'll still make the same personnel mistakes. Things would have been so different at Ferrari if they'd just given Brawn the job all those years ago. It's infuriating.

Just wondering in Red Bull are sort of punishing Riccy after he chose to leave? They are over 200 points ahead of Renault and 150 behind Ferrari, so I don't think they can lose 3rd place. Plus less points in constructors means less fees to pay next year!
Max is doing his best to publically trash Renault even though he is getting the car up front. So he is even more the blue eyed boy and Riccy is 'unfaithful' so getting punished???

Either way I hate to see him suffering with mechanical issues. And I'm concerned about him being stuck at Renault next year. A driver who deserves so much more. I'd love to see him fighting for a championship.
