I think our last ten years have made an impact on the youngsters! Going by my sons high school they’re all city! The older glory hunters can f’k off, We don’t want them anyway!
Yeah I dobt give a **** who they are they are supporting another City... There's plenty that dobt like rugby that support other clubs.!!@
How about a Public Holiday for the City of Hull to mark their departure - a 'thanks for the gift' day. I see you can petition parliament and the government and after 10,000 signatures you get a response. Unfortunately I think it will fall about 200 votes short so just send in a sickie and make it unofficial.
It's not just old people. I'm 25 and most of my generation watch other clubs and just don't get it at all. They really think it's a valid valid way to support clubs and see nothing wrong with it. Actually being a fanatic who goes along to support your team at matches puts you in a small minority.
Reasonably as in there’s other similar fair attractions. But they aren’t as big and there’s not loads of them. So yes it’s reasonably unique.
As a travelling fair it is unique as it’s the biggest travelling fair in Europe - allegedly. As a simple fair, it’s not unique as there are others. So, it’s reasonably unique. I’m pleased I’ve cleared this up for you. Would you like help with anything else?
I was going to point that out but decided it wasn't worth it as we've just had pages of arguments stemming basically from the words "an" and "the" before "owner". I also didn't because it's pointless correcting something as it's the internet, a place where people will argue a cow is a feather all day long.
We bang on about protecting club tradition but then are willing to abandon a 700+ year old tradition by getting rid of the fair. Just because it's not important to the club doesn't make it any less important to the population of Hull.
It is important however it doesn't have to stay on walton st. It never started there in the first place.
You could argue the same about any development from the club owners. Why does it have to be the Walton street site? Hull isn't short of sites that need development.
No dispute there pal it would depend on how much the local community would benefit and from what. If it relights an area long overlooked then for me move the fair
