It's worth remembering that this is not just the home of THFC but is a true multi-purpose stadium. There will be 16 full stadium, non-football events. I could see a sponsor's name being possible but it's likely that any THFC references would have to removed for NFL use and maybe for other events too? I like the all navy blue look, rather than misshapen attempts at the club badge and initials. For me, they'd be better off with images on the screens. However, it's not a deal breaker either way.. What is crucial is the dual pitch feature. The playing surface at Wembley was ****ed where the ring was placed for the Joshuah fight. There was a Mouser on this thread telling me that stadiums like Old Trafford and Wembley are multi-use. They're really not. The fact that you can beat a man to death with a pool cue doesn't make it a versatile, multi-use instrument, it just means that in extremis, it will just about make do to commit murder. Tottenham Hotspur ST/\DIUM will be able to host multiple sports and events and maintain a fabulous playing surface, whilst Wembley and other stadiums ruin their pitches. If Wembley is sold to Khan, playing competitive internationals there will turn the games into a lottery, as the playing surface will be like a ploughed field.
Love this one- how the sun is shining on the last bit that still needs grass. Caption competition? please log in to view this image
Bournemouth have announced an open ended delay in building a new stadium. It'll be Everton next...... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45743066
Who put that there?............Well, you, obviously. Sorry, Squire. The problems these clubs have got is showing how they're going to pay back the money. Yes, they've got large incomes but they spend every penny and never make a profit worth a damn. Try getting a mortgage with no savings and a history of spending every penny you earn.
Okay, what're the chances the diggers still on the pitch (as of 7:58pm on the livestreams) realise the exit is on the opposite side of the pitch to the one they're on?
Fair enough PNP, I've not really attempted to engage him since our first disagreement as it's clear we're not going to agree. I can't always ignore unprovoked and petty digs about me though. I've enjoyed popping on this thread for the past year or so and it's only one poster who I've had such a disagreement with and I've got a lot of time for you mate so I'll just ignore any posts from him about me from now on unless he quotes me directly Anyway to keep this post on topic when do you think the club will announce a date? I would have thought we might have heard something by now but understandably the club want to be sure before they do.
@The Liebherr Legacy There have to be two test events before any matches. The original plan was for an academy fixture and a legends game v Bayern. When the new ones are announced, then we'll have a better idea of where the plans stand.
I didn't, because I swear I typed "lemmings" ...unless I picked the perfect moment for a bloody typo, anyway
