I did get ticked with the Huddersfield fans booing Harry and yelling cheat. If you have two players continuing to make a ham sandwich out of Harry ,he's going to fall over, you twits!!!!
It is bizarre. Have to be careful with my language here, but in many ways he is one of the whitest people in football in everything bar skin colour. He is pompous, dull and humourless, doesn't provide a different viewpoint on anything - culturally speaking he adds nothing that the stiffs he follows have already imparted. Someone like Paul Ince or Dion Dublin would be far better role models for aspiring black managers.
It's just a headline. Sounds like they're giving different BAME coaches the opportunity to work with an England side for an international break. Terry Connor's doing the first one this month and then Judas does the next in November, no mention of anything longer term for him. Anyway, in case anyone missed it. The great football mind that is S*l C*mpbell:
I believe so Of course, what The FA should really be doing is running courses to encourage pros into coaching instead of giving vapid summations of the bleeding obvious from the pundit's sofa
Yep. You can always PM a mod if you're confused or disagree with a decision but since you've posted here, I'll reply here. I took what you said as a play off of prison rape and as Judas has long had accusations of being gay I think there's a solid reason to say that it's homophobic. I'm not perfect on this subject, I've stood and sung Campbell loves Barrymore and worse but it's long overdue that we all as fans grew up a bit, there's plenty of material to have a pop at the guy for without resorting to slurs based on offensive stereotypes.
In the mid 90s there was tech talk of analysing the amount of "pink" colour in GIF/JPEG files to infer that the image was probably porn flesh fests. I remarked at the time that what if the image has people of afro-caribbean descent etc in them.
Nike, sponsors of Ronaldo, have developed qualms about him promoting their products given recent allegations of rape - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-45753889 It cannot helped, at all, by the fact that Nike's slogan is "Just do it".
I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of porn files are not illegal anyway. How is the software to decide between illegal or not even if it finds it? There seems to be a feeling that you can take the human input out of anything these days (1) even though it is not always (ever?) technically possible and (2) without thought of moral or societal implications.
The premise at the time was that a web browser etc, after downloading but before displaying the image, could analyse the image and with colour analysis, determine the likelihood it was porn. And therefore based on some policy settings (work environment, parental control etc) , not display etc. "There seems to be a feeling that you can take the human input out of anything these days" You can for increasingly more things. However the : 1. image recognition/processing capabilities of mammal brains currently are still more superior than manufactured attempted counterparts. 2. reasoning process audit is very poor (neural networks generally can tell you the decision made but not explain it in detail as a human can) "(1) even though it is not always (ever?) technically possible and (2) without thought of moral or societal implications." I belong to a school of thought that reverses the above. Specifically : 1. Is it moral ?? 2. If it is, then let the numbers decide (what obvious ROI is there etc) .
