Cant afford to give goals away against teams like Barca. 1-0 wouldnt be so bad, we'd still be in it, 2-0 is a long way back.

1-0 from an amazing strike like that, and you simply have to applaud. And to be fair, we’ve done ok, despite their superiority.
But Lloris totally ****ed us from the 2nd minute. Infuriating.

it's like men against boys tbh...but with no Eriksen, Dele, Dembele and Jan it was always going to be mission impossible.

but Hugo gave away the first and sanchezs bad pass gave away the second...2 mistakes 2 goals...ah well

just singing my heart out in the hope it ain't a drubbing!

    Half time subs...

Gazzaniga for Lloris simply for the reason he’s been utterly ****

Dier for Victor simply because even Eric’s poor recent form cant be as bad as Wanyama’s

I have some terrible news: the turfers have clocked off the the night, so it's just a couple of diggers taking sure the sandy bit is level for tomorrow
I'd go for Sissoko replacing Wanyama, because why add another player who misplaces passes constantly into the mix?

WE weren't playing badly but we need to produce more chances.

...just to be clear, that's chances for Tottenham, not Barca.

Unless we get better at the “games”, spurf, our experienced European opponents will continue to play the ref, in order to break up the play, and win decisions. If they get away with it and we suffer as a result, why shouldn’t we do it? Inter were superb at it 2 weeks ago, and Juventus showed a master class over 2 games last season.

It was ever thus in Europe even in the 60's we had to suffer such **** that doesn't mean we should resort to it ourselves. I am proud of Spurs because we always try to play football and I don't subscribe to winning at all costs.

I wasn’t around in the 60’s, but even in the 30 odd years I’ve followed football for, it’s massively changed.
What are we resorting to, exactly? It’s clearly not cheating, if that’s what you’re implying, as many teams get away with it... repeatedly. It’s just become a modern tactic to help change the shape of the game, especially in Europe.
