Our nemesis Giroud will score but I think we will hold them to a 1-0.

Mayas brain farts reduce in frequency when he gets a run of games.

He would definitely by my number 1 CB at this stage. I think I'd partner him with Vestergaard, as at least on paper those two should be a good pairing. Worth a go at least eh Mark, as Hoedt and Vestergaard are not working.

Remembering how Vestergaard was unable to turn quickly enough/get out of the way of the Wolves players, I can’t wait to see how well he and Hoedt do against Hazard. :emoticon-0127-lipss:emoticon-0101-sadsm<yikes>

Why can’t we go for a back 6 against Chelsea....

4 central defenders 2 wingbacks 3 midfields 1 up front!?

If we beat Chelsea 2-0 that won't be the tides turning, that will be an earthquake of seismic proportions .

    But why not?

Giroud scoring against us is as close to a certainty as you're going to get in football.

Alex McCarthy has damaged his hamstring again ... struggling to be fit for the England games next week.

Unfortunate for him, however this could be a good stage for Gunn to show his qualities and show us why we paid £10 million for him.

I think he may be hard to dislodge once he gains a foothold.

Could we see Fraser on the bench?

    More likely Harry Lewis.

I heard Frazer isn't in a good place mentality right now.

Need to play Romeu for this one and Hojbjerg at DM otherwise Hazard will run riot, he probably will anyway but only way we have a chance is to seriously protect the defence.

Giroud to casually out jump, out pace and out play Vestergaard all game as well is basically a certainty.

Who’s next on your hit list?

    Hughes and Vestergaard are obvious.

I personally really like Vestergaard, but I don’t think Hoedt should be paired with him. Either Bednarak or Yoshida should to offer a bit more pace.

    Hit list <laugh><laugh>

I say it how I see it, Vestergaard is 100ft tall and loses in the air regularly and is slow. Giroud is very good in the air and always scores against us and whilst not quick is quicker than Vestergaard. Hughes is Mark Hughes, will be average before getting the sack when it goes from average to poor. Whether that is now or in a season or 2 we will have to wait and see
