I've spent the last two decades in and out of therapy. Extensive bouts of CBT, hypnotherapy and acupuncture have failed to address the myriad issues. Stints in the Priory, Maudsley and St Ann's (Tottenham) produced limited success. And I even spent six weeks in a monastery in a bid to discover some semblance of inner peace. One Dutch specialist wanted me to undergo a lobotomy, but this would have diminished my undoubted genius. In short, 'raging mentalness' just about sums it up.
