Another instance of OLM refusing to accept he is wrong. First stage call someone who says he is wrong and proves it a boring **** and tell them to **** off. Second stage says he is fed up with the discussion. Third stage lock the thread.
Time will tell but my source said Duffen is favourite many weeks ago so let’s wait and see, say the council got 30million for it for arguments sake. How many years of hull fair rent is that in one hit?
And what do the people of Hull get, exactly? Concerts? Use of the stadium for anything? Local football and rugby finals? I would love to see what income Hull City council get from Hull Fair once any expenses like policing are deducted. It will probably be the square root of **** all.
Why would the council expect to get £30 million for a stadium over 15 years old in need of maintainance? Wasps bought the Ricoh Arena, which is newer with a capacity 7,000 higher than the KC and more things attached like a casino and hotel for £20 million.
Don’t think the Police charge much for the Fair actually Recall a few years ago they weren’t allowed to due to old laws relating to old fairs Not massively relevant though as Council could sell stadium without land needed or with covenant I don’t think they’ll sell it anyway
Although the club is still majority owned by Mansour, in 2015, a 13.79% stake purchase of the club's parent company, City Football Group(CFG), by the CITIC Group for £265 million valued it at $3 billion. CITC own 13.79% of Man City, however you and your petty Aussie mate want to try and spin it.
I'm sorry that you took it as me being petty, but I'd suspect the person who can't go two posts without swearing at someone who is just contributing to the discussion is the petty one. Plenty of people challenged the idea that Man City had Chinese owners, sorry for being one of them.
So someone with 13% of your company would be the owners would they? The only spinning being done is by you.
Funnily enough I said something similar and agreed with OLM's sentiment about the potential nationality of our owners but I'm being supposedly petty.
He said the owners were Chinese. I thought you would realise there is a difference between owning 13% of something and being the owners.
I’m not bickering, I’m just startled that this is seen as a matter for discussion. Especially when there are important debates about population statistics that need addressing.
