We sold all our allocated tickets weeks ago

We sold 4,700 in 24 minutes for the Sheff Wed game

If you don't go to every away game tickets are hard to come by when we have low allocations

It is against ground regulations. Some enforce it more than others. Needless to say our lot don't enforce it. You have to bear in mind when tbe PL gave each club money to enhance awaybfollowings other clubs subsidised travel and/or tickets for their fans who travel away. Our owners spengt £250,000 on the concourses for th away fans to enhance the away day experience of the away fans of other clubs.
It is really difficult to understand why fans have deserted the club in their droves with such wonderful owners, isn't it?

I get that Nige wanted to be seen to be standing by MH, or at least not hanging him out to dry, at least short term.
But I'm wondering (hoping) that Adkins uses the coming international break as the time to make the so obvious changes that need making?
Meaning, to change the on field captain and to change the CM.
If he doesn't grasp these nettles during the break, then sorry, as much as I like him, he's lost it.
Goes without saying that way more than the above, I hope we see a sale completed during the International break.

Leeds also has way better transport connections than Hull and indeed various other clubs. And has had for many years, most likely helps develop a traveling support.

So the reason other teams take more away is they have better transport connections? All of them who take more away?

Even when you watch an FA cup tie between a league 2 side and a premier league side , there is usually a 5 minute spell when the league 2 Side has a bit of a go and gives them something to think about , we couldn't even manage that , at home to a side in our division , pathetic really .

No we have a huge away following because of our large fanbase

It is easier to get in & out of Leeds because of where we are situated next to motorways to be fair

Just like Liverpool & Man U we have a huge fanbase all over the UK & worldwide, much of it dating back to the Revie-era

1000's of Leeds fans in Ireland/Scandinavia/Australia/America & other countries

Our new owner has bought new TV rights covering Asia which will attract 1000's more to our club

Clubs like Hull, Derby, Stoke, etc are more locally based

Travelling made more easy because a lot of Leeds fans are gloryhunters from other cities who adopted them when they were doing well so not as far to travel. When Leeds were in the PL there was a survey of clubs season ticket holders. The club with the highest percentage living outside the postcode weren't, surprisingly I admit, Man Utd but Leeds United. Man Utd were third behind Leeds and Liverpool. Then of course there are those who started going because Leeds had a reputation for trouble and they thought it made them look hard as well.

And yet Leeds aren't one of the 14 clubs who have ever averaged over 40,000 with all these fans. Funny, eh?

That's football Barch even more so over the last 25 years since SKY TV controlled footy. Adults/kids latch onto teams on the telly outside their area & claim to be fans even though many have never seen their club live !

I follow LUFC/Leeds Rhinos & YCCC as I was born & bred in Leeds, missed out on my usual couple of days to Headingley to watch cricket this summer as I've been far too busy. I watched Leeds Rugby & Yorkshire Cricket as a 6yo, three years later i was taken to ER v Grimsby in the 1963/64 season, Bremner scored & became an instant boyhood hero & the rest is history, rarely missed a home game during the 60/70's with a few away trips including a couple of Wembley Finals too !

Around 38/39k in the early 70's mind you Liverpool & Man U only averaged 3k to 5k more those days

Generally had 39k (full capacity then) during the Ridsdale era

We've had many 30k + attendances over the last few years even though we've been sh*te

I'd really like to think you are right on changing the captain but I doubt whether he'll do it. I think he has backed himself into a bit of a corner on this issue but let's see.
