Just maybe he was talking about money invested in the team recently rather than the potential money to invest in the team.
That is irrelevant. Some clubs choose to invest more money in the team than others as some have richer owners and owners who want success. However the playing field was not sloping in Leeds favour as far as income goes, it was in ours. No doubt the managers of teams losing to City in 1965/1966 will have excused defeats by saying it wasn't a level playing field.
Money invested helped us get promoted, far from irrelevant. Any manager put in will want to bring in their own players, if they can't you won't see big improvement and it will probably settle down to something similar eventually. The Allams will appreciate your comments though.
Kevin Stewart is he just Junior Lewis in disguise, should be embarrassed to collect a wage from last nights performance although Henrikson could easily be the same, poor all round in midfield in general. Adkins needs to book a taxi and take Crosby with him as tactically crap last night and many other times and same issues time and again with him although the lads did well in getting there shin pads on and looking good blah blah blah Nigel.
We weren't at our best last night Tigress, played much better at Hillsborough & didn't get the victory we deserved. Last night we were pedestrian at times but got the result Even on last night's lacklustre showing did we look better than 'Boro ?
If so that is typical of our business genius owners. Championship regulations state 10% or 2,000 whichever is the lower but as far as I am aware the away sections are the same as they were in the PL where it is 105 or 3,000 so we had 2,500 in the away section. Of course it may all be down to our incompetent police who brush under the carpet or ignore any trouble at rugby matches and at Beverley Races, especially on the "Ladies " Day whilst treating every football match as though it is a possible civil insurrection.
They usually are at most away grounds. We could have filled the KC with at least 10k Leeds fans but then you have such problems as : Extra policing/stewards Cost of the extra safety measures Moving season-ticket holders to another part of the stadium Plus the likelihood of more trouble after the game Traffic problems getting out of Hull Probably not worth the hassle but that's why you have Leeds fans in the away ends We took 5,000 fans down to Fulham on a Tuesday night even though we all knew we were in for a battering last season
