Let’s face it, very few managers do actually change things, especially the way we see it as fans. They always appear to see different things to us. I think they often go for what they see as the “safe option”, even if it isn’t. Well that was an insipid uninspiring performance if ever I saw one. I don’t think we even managed a shot on target for the whole game. My hopes faded when Irvine went off to be replaced by the ineffective sub standard Kevin Stewart. What a ****house he is.

I came away from the game defending Adkins to my mate , saying it's not his fault , if you get an injury and have to bring Stewart on what can you expect and that there are only 2 people to blame . And while that is largely true , you have to wonder if another manager could get a bit more fight out of them at least . You cannot polish a turd and turn poor players into great players , but we didn't seem to give a **** we were Losing . Topped off with ridiculous after match comments , he becomes hard to stick up for .
Very poor game Irvine going off shouldn't be, but nowadays is, a nightmare! Stewart is astonishingly bad. He doesn't hide, but is just really poor. Unless we were actually sent the wrong player it must surely be confidence? Mustn't it? Kane was poor I thought. Again doesn't hide, but just wasn't very good Martin looked ok for the first ten minutes. Slowed down after that! Grosicki looked interested for twenty minutes. Should have stayed on though as he can create something and might have been helped by two up front. Henriksen...awful defending for their goal. Barged around a bit but ultimately was ineffectual Marshall. Should he have done better for their goal? I immediately thought he should, but that might be unfair. Lichaj looked ok, but needs to wind his crossing down several notches Burke, looked ok Bowen had a quiet game Elphick looked ok Kingsley was quiet Not a pleasant evening.
