This is the first time in my saints supporting careeer that ive not bothered listening to or watch somehow whilst being free.
Tbf he is pretty poor. If he wasnt from the academy he would have left years ago and the fans would have been complaining whenever he started. He should try and reinvent himself as a right back as he will never make it elsewhere in the premier league
Nope, I see a player there, certainly not a "poor" one. He and Pierre compliment each other well, trouble is only Puel has really played them together for a length of time.
Fair enough, both have differing opinions on him. For me, we used age as an excuse for way too long because we were so desperate for an academy lad to make it - plus there is no doubting his work ethic on the pitch and that is worth noting. I dont think he is premier league quality, partly due to the fact he doesnt actually have a position. He isnt quick enough to play wide, not capable of sitting as a defensive midfielder, not creative to play behind a striker or dont think his passing is particularly great either. Yes, he has a good deliver and set pieces are decent too, but not enough for me. At 24 next month he cant hide behind his age.
Apparently we have gone 41 consecutive games without a draw in this competition, sounds like bollocks
